About social responsibility
We have always been a business driven by a strong set of values. Today those values are as important as ever. We now know that the well-being of society and the environment is critical to our ability to grow and to achieve our new vision of doubling the size of our business while reducing our overall environmental impact across our entire value chain.
When it comes to environmental protection and ethical and social role of the company, social responsibility is the key element of the strategy for Motus CEE. We are aware that the improvement of our competitive advantage is possible only by our constant development. That can only be accomplished in the long term by the carefully planned and wholesome strategy of social responsibility; for each individual company as well as for the whole economy.
In Motus CEE, the corporate social responsibility is regulated by the internationally ratified documents: by the declaration from Rio Earth Summit in 1992, that deals with the environmental protection and by the World Summit Declaration For Sustainable Development (WSSD) from 2002 that is focused on the wider picture including the social development and ending of the world poverty.
Our company fully follows the spirit of the social responsibility that mandates socially beneficial functioning as opposed to the maximization of the profit, not because that is mandated by the law, but because of our own desire to do so. The advancement in the environmental protection is not just our motto, but also our way of doing business. We accomplish that goal through numerous and various activities.
